There are grave concerns that the property dept. of TAFE intends to tear down the old tennis club building situated in the middle of the Coonamble campus.
Although there is no heritage listing on the building, the club house holds significant historical interest. The building was built in 1937 and has remained in its current position since.
Although not particularly large on the inside the building has a generous balcony on three sides and is still structurally and aesthetically sound.
