28 golfers took to the course on the weekend in idyllic conditions to play the first club organised round for the year.
A two man ambrose was organised at late notice and was well supported with a few new members gracing the course.
With the course playing long and approaches mowed attacking the green was fraught with danger and errant drives were punished by the extra run in the course.
It was a mixed bag for most golfers with 50 . . .
