WITH just over 47,000 bales offered with three days rostered in Melbourne and the other two centres scheduled over two days, the Eastern Market Indicator gained eight cents this week to close at 1,341c/kg.
Merino types opened with continued momentum lifting prices between 10 ‑ 40 cents clean on the opening day and while Wednesday was more subdued, most descriptions generally finish slightly higher before the Melbourne‑only sale on Thursday closed out the week on a soft note.
