Member for Barwon, Kevin Humphries is pleased to announce that the NSW Government has awarded Coonamble Shire Council a $66,000 grant to help vulnerable residents make their homes more resistant to break and enters.
“The grant will enable council to step up its Burglar Beware campaign, which is raising awareness of home safety and helping residents – particularly the vulnerable and elderly - improve security,” Mr Humphries said.
The program includes safety audits on homes in hot spot areas in Coonamble and Gulargambone.
