ON 28 January, fishermen around the district took on the challenge to catch as many carp as possible for the Aussie Carp Cleanup.
Organised by Leanne Delaney, the event was formed in an effort to help cull carp numbers in the Murray-Darling water system.
“The idea hatched when we saw fish spawning by the thousand on top of the water,” said Leanne.
