AS most people are coming back online after school holidays or beach holidays and just getting out of the heat the sheep and cattle markets have really cooled off!
Cows are still selling okay up around the $3.00/kilogram mark if they are good and back into the low to mid $2 range for stores and off type cattle.
Feeders have been hovering around the 3.80-$4.00 mark and during the last week we’ve seen some positives throughout the steer and heifer feeder market with some isolated sales well over $4 . . .
