COONAMBLE residents will be under water restrictions for just a little while longer until Coonamble Shire Council is confident in the use of the water management facility.
Currently, there is no definitive date on when the restrictions will ease however it will be "at the least the next two weeks" according to Coonamble Shire Council's Acting Director of Infrastructure, Dirk Jol.
The level one restrictions began on 4 March following a series of malfunctions at the Coonamble water treatment facility resulting in the plant being unable to produce as much water as the town . . .
