The livestock markets have been slowly softening the last few weeks and the ongoing dry weather is not helping the slide.
Things have changed drastically on the weather front from last year, where I have only measured 12mms for February, and so far nothing for March.
Let’s hope we can get a decent break towards the end of the month and set us up for another good autumn and winter.
Good lambs have been the bright spot in the industry over the last few months, but they must be good and shorn . . .
