"Not every person likes working with elderly people," said Koonambil's interim leader Paul Rosenquist.
"There needs to be a real passion to work in aged care."
Fortunately, the facility's workforce is brimming with care and passion and last week Koonambil took advantage of Aged Care Employee Day to celebrate their talents and dedication.
"The day is acknowledging the work that the staff up at Koonambil do and how committed they are to looking after the elderly of the area."
