It's been ten months since newspaper advertisements first notified landholders that two Exploration Licence Applications (ELAs) covering almost 3150 square kilometres of Coonamble Shire had been lodged.
For a district with a very limited mining history it seemed a curiosity, leaving residents wondering what, if anything, would happen next.
