It’s been an exciting month in the cattle industry with record yardings everywhere from Roma to Wangaratta.
I have never experienced a time when so many numbers hit the market and the prices have stayed firm or even better.
On Wednesday 3 December there were 2400 fat cattle yarded at Coonamble with a fair percentage of cows.
Trucks were lined up ready to take the cattle straight to the abattoir, which is a good sign when there aren’t any stock backed up in the system.
