Coonamble Shire Council is weighing up whether to allow a world-class swimmer to train in Gulargambone Pool after hours.
Armatree-based Peta Bradley is preparing for a marathon 45-kilometre swim in New York in the second half of 2026 and is already using the facility during regular opening times.
At the 12 November ordinary council meeting Ms Bradley asked Council to consider providing her earlier morning access to be able to practise longer swims.
