Councillors have voted to move ahead with acquiring land at the Coonamble's Racecourse Reserve for their proposed bore baths.
Council will send an application to the NSW government to approve the acquisition.
Senior staffer Lesley Duncan said that an application for a bore licence is also with the NSW government.
"It's with a hydrologist for assessment. We reached out to them last week. We cannot get any further information at this stage," she said during Council's monthly meeting on 11 December.
