Farmers are limited to owning ten guns after the NSW parliament passed tighter firearms rules triggered by the Bondi terror attack.
The new laws, adopted during a snap sitting in December, also restrict straight-pull weapons and introduce mandatory gun club membership for firearm owners.
At the federal level, the Albanese government passed their own laws in mid-January that expand background checks, prevent non-Australian citizens from importing firearms and create a national gun buyback scheme.
