While the year begins with a bearish moisture outlook, attention to detail and careful management will help place us in a strong position for the season ahead.
Last season, we saw great results achieved through disciplined fallow management by storing valuable moisture to support crops through a period of reduced rainfall during the growing season.
Having studied the local rainfall data since planting last year, we have received 100 to 140mm of rain below our long-term median rainfall.
No wonder it is looking dry!
