The crew at Gilgandra NSW Fire and Rescue are participating in this year’s Firies Climb for Motor Neurone Disease, aiming to raise up to $10,000 for the cause.
Gilgandra Fire and Rescue Captain Damien Jordan said their climb of Furbers Steps near Katoomba on 28-29 August is inspired by the recent motor neurone diagnosis of rugby league player Jai Arrow.
