A Super week at Gulargambone Preschool

22/03/2026 by The Coonamble Times

We have been pretending to be doctors on call in the home corner, experimented and hypothesized using our new sandpit scales, fished to our hearts content in the water tub and boat, toasted marshmallows on our play campfire, jumped out of the coloured cubby onto pillows and saved the day while wearing superhero costumes.

It has been flat out this week!

OT & Gross Motor Skills
Miss Lorna led us through a fabulous obstacle course, including crawling through a tunnel, leaping over hurdles and plenty of climbing.

Speech & Language
Mrs Tindall worked on name recognition, pencil grip and name writing this week.

The children also answered lots of questions about their mum, ready for Mother’s Day.

Group Time
The art project is coming along nicely, thanks to some more creative experiences with Mrs Tindall this week.

The children made a recycled flower using plastic bottles and cellophane, bottle tops and cardboard.
