Coonamble’s Aboriginal Medical Service (AMS) is going from strength to strength and now is the second largest employer in Coonamble with 24 employees, second only to the Coonamble Shire.
In a few short years the AMS has outgrown its current lodgings and has moved its administration office around the corner to Castlereagh Street.
The practice has been able to retain two full time doctors who have signed on for the long term, says AMS CEO Tim Horan.
