Ainslie wins stableford

22/03/2026 by The Coonamble Times

What a beautiful day for the lady golfers to be out playing golf on Wednesday 11 March with a mild wind blowing from the south.

The event was a nine hole stableford.

Looking at the scores the ladies are playing good golf at the moment.

After the stableford event was finished the Token and Ball winners were first Ainslie Schieb with a stableford of 20 points, a scratch of 52 and a nett of 34.

Second token and ball winner was Lyndy Regan on a countback from Pam Goldsmith both with a stableford of 18 points.

Ball winners were Pam Goldsmith 18 points and Donna O’Malley on 15 points.

Grapevine News
Here is a story about a golfer and her dog.

Her dog heard a loud disturbance and took off in fear and his owner took off after him.

She drove up to the river and down she went she was bogged.

So she walked up the bank and a nice man pulled her ute up the bank.

But it wasn’t enough so he pulled her ute further up the bank.

The next idea was to drive around the Vets side and look but the dog wasn’t there.

So disheartened she went home and there was her dog sitting on the back step worried out of its mind that his owner was lost because after all his owner wasn’t microchipped.

Good Golfing
