A lifetime of quiet dedication and skilled leadership was formally recognised on Australia Day when Baradine’s volunteer manager of the Camp Cypress Holiday Camp was honoured with two Australia Day Awards.
Janet Fitzgerald was presented with both a Warrumbungle Shire Council Australia Day Certificate of Recognition and the Baradine Citizen of the Year community award for her work on Monday, 26 January by the Australia Day ambassador, Amar Singh.
