Acts of vandalism of facilities at the Baradine sports oval have left local residents deeply disappointed and angry.
Warrumbungle Shire Council said the incident is believed to have occurred early last week and included damage to the kiosk and the newly installed public toilets.
Door frames were destroyed and the new stainless-steel splashback in the canteen was sprayed with a fire extinguisher. The exterior of the old canteen was damaged and a fire was lit on the floor of the new ladies’ amenities.
Council says that acts of destruction like this cost . . .
