The Coonamble Bears Reserve Grade side hosted the Baradine Magpies over the weekend for Round 4 of the Castlereagh League competition.
The atmosphere was electric, with a huge crowd turning out to celebrate the 110 year anniversary of Rugby League in Coonamble - setting the stage for a fiery game of football.
In the Reserves, the Bears were first to draw blood, with Back Rower Malakai Haley powering over the line to score.
Mark Jones successfully converted, giving the home side an early 6-0 lead.
