Bourke’s youngest councillor resigns

Former Bourke councillor Maxime Nina says it’s a “bitter sweet” moment after he resigned from the role from Monday 9 February.

The 30-year-old was the youngest on the council and was first elected in September 2024. He is unable to continue to serve on council following a decision to move to Tasmania, where he has recently begun work as a law clerk.
