Kris Parsons now has the reins in his hands of the Rodeo and Campdraft Committee after being voted in as president at the Annual General Meeting on 11 February.
Mr Parsons has been part of the Rodeo Committee for around 15 years.
Although never a rider himself, it was always important to Mr Parsons to play an active role in the community.
