SEVERE WINDS and heavy rainfall last week resulted in extensive damage to buildings and roads in and around the Coonamble shire and several hours without power.
Along with high winds and electrical activity, Coonamble recorded around 30.6mm between 5pm and 8.30pm on Wednesday 8 December.
The village of Quambone was one of the first to see the storm, but only recorded about 12mm of rain along with some hail and mild winds.
