A young Coonamble Constable has been honoured by the Police District for his response to a farming accident near Gilgandra in 2021.
Constable Matthew Bootes helped other officers perform CPR for over an hour while waiting for a helicopter to arrive on the scene.
He is one of 17 officers and one civilian who were celebrated during the Orana Mid-Western Police District Awards Day at the Taronga Western . . .
