Council staff hope to save time and money after standing out from 20 other local government areas to win a drone worth more than $7000 in the 2025 AVCRM Drone Competition.
Coonamble Shire Council's Natalie Manuel said the DJI Matrice 4 will inspect areas that would be slower and riskier to access manually, like bridges, rooftops, and water and sewer infrastructure.
