A waste management group representing Coonamble Shire Council has announced its intention to "deeply oppose" a possible tax on landfill waste which if introduced would bring added costs to Coonamble residents.
The group called NetWaste represents Coonamble Shire along with twenty four other local government areas in central and far western New South Wales, and they fear that the introduction of the 'Waste Levy' in Coonamble will create more problems than it will fix.
