Trainee vet nurse Eden Allen has been awarded $1600 as the latest up-and-coming to win the Coonamble & District Education Foundation's (CADEF) Henry Elliott Memorial Scholarship.
Ms Allen was announced the winner of the annual scholarship during the Australia Day ceremony at the Coonamble Showground Pavilion.
CADEF secretary Ron Mackay said the first-time applicant is a valued member of her team at Coonamble North West Vets.
"She's certainly a very worthy recipient," Mr Mackay said.
