A GRASS fire on the Carinda Road last week has led to a reminder from the Coonamble Rural Fire Service that wet weather does not eliminate the risk of bushfires.
The fire started only a few kilometres out of town and was reported to local brigades during thunderstorm activity on the evening of Tuesday 7 December.
