JUST ahead of the end of Daylight Savings, the last few days of March also brought the first real taste of autumn to the district.
After seeing a top temperature of 40.1 degrees on both 6 and 18 March, the last few days saw temperatures plummet with Friday 31 March treating us to blanket weather with an overnight minimum of just 8.1 degrees.
Friday’s maximum of 23.1 matched the overnight minimum just three days earlier on 28 March.
