Fresh from the coast, Feby Markose says he’s keen to show his face around town Coonamble.
Feby arrived in October from Wollongong and is now the newest volunteer member of the local SES unit.
He came to know about the service through a former colleague who volunteered.
“She would be having this loud beeping happening in her phone and she wouldn’t talk to anyone, just hurrying up and running and getting the car,” Feby remembers.
“I wanted to get involved in meeting new people in the community.
