Sarath Bhasi is a long way from where he started.
Born in 1987 in the southern Indian coastal state of Kerala, he moved in 2010 to Oman, a country in the Middle East near the United Arab Emirates, where he spent ten years working as an accountant.
It was there that he married Irish resident Reeja Pushpavally before the pair moved to ‘the emerald isle’ in 2020.
