The Coonamble Shire Council has welcomed two new workers and the local population has surged as the Payne family moved to town.
Tony and Rebecca arrived in February with their six children, Nathan, Mitchell, Lily, Oakleigh, Kyle, Jordan, and their new puppy, Busta.
The family moved from Bega, but they are not new to the western lifestyle.
