Coonamble man, Barry Murray will spend his next twelve months behind bars after assaulting an unsuspecting victim at a licensed venue in Coonamble on 5 August.
Murray, aged 34, appeared remotely to Dubbo Local Court on Thursday 21 September for sentencing via an audio visual link from Bathurst Correctional Centre where he was held in custody.
He pleaded guilty to the charge of 'assault occasioning actual bodily harm' and magistrate Garry Wilson sentenced him to eighteen months in prison, with a twelve month non parole period.
