Two Coonamble artists have been honoured in Parkes, with their work displayed among the winners of the Waste 2 Arts Regional Showcase.
The exhibition on Saturday 10 August displayed over 120 winning entries made from discarded materials, this year's theme being 'Packaging.'
Local Christine Young took the Curator's Award for her sculpture 'Aegis of Medusa.'
To create it, she used materials including clothesline wire and foam pieces from furniture packaging, as well as plastic wrappers from period pads, food and drink packaging, carboard boxes, newspaper, paint and glitter.
