After two successive weeks of losses, the Australian wool market has rebounded strongly, with the Eastern Market Indicator (EMI) finishing the week ending at 1,786c/kg, a gain of 62 cents.
There were 36,252 bales offered, 3,421 fewer than the previous series.
The market rose immediately on the opening day, with higher yielding, low vegetable matter wool and lots with favourable additional measurement results most sought after, though all types posted gains.
