It may be April Fools Day but Australia’s fuel situation is no joke.
Changes came into force today following a meeting of National Cabinet on Monday 30 March that agreed to a four-step National Fuel Security Plan.
It included a decision to halve fuel excise and reduce the road user charge on the fuel used in trucks on the road to zero for the next three months.
