New manager to re-start abattoir

THE CASTLEREAGH Regional Abattoir has been quiet since 4 March this year but owner Kevin Xu has confirmed plans to re-commence operations following the recruitment of a new manager.

Noel Harris and his family met with Mr Xu on site last Friday 29 July to finalise details of his relocation to Coonamble with his wife Dona and daughter Skye in the next few weeks.
