DESPITE setting a deadline of December 1, the Gulargambone pool is still yet to open for the summer.
After numerous council meetings, external company takeovers, and false hopes - Gular is still back where it started before the swim season - closed.
Coonamble Shire Council had arranged for a pool takeover by the company Lifeguard Services Australia (LSA Pools) back in November.
A lifeguarding course that would staff the pool was also advertised on November 10 - it also is . . .
