WORK has begun in recent weeks to dismantle the old Coonamble sheepyards on the Back Gular Road, and Coonamble Shire Council have since started discussions about what to do next with the 4.4 hectare block of land.
The last time the old sheepyards had actually been used for a sale was back in 2005, and since then they have gone into a state of disrepair after years of environmental exposure and minimal maintenance.
