A VETERAN of NSW local government, Ross Earl, last week temporarily took up the hot seat as General Manager of Coonamble Shire Council.
Bruce Quarmby, who has filled double-duty as Acting GM and Leader of Corporate Services since the resignation of Hein Basson at the end of March this year, and will return to his usual duties.
It is expected that Mr Earl will steer the ship for at least six months but no more than 12 months . . .
