As families prepare for the return to school in coming days, new national research shows Term 1 is shaping up as one of the most stressful times of the year for Australian parents.
A study of more than 1,000 Australian parents, released this week by HP Australia, found 59 per cent of parents experience stress during the back-to-school period, with almost half (47 per cent) saying the start of the 2026 school year feels more stressful than previous years.
