A pair of seasoned travellers spent some unplanned nights at the Sundowner Hotel in Quambone after their motorhome became bogged near the Macquarie Marshes last Monday 12 September.
Kit Peters (72) and his wife Nancy were plucked from their stranded vehicle by a helicopter rescue team after four nights stuck in isolation.
