CANDIDATES in the 2021 Local Government Election have weeks to wait before final confirmation of whether their bid to sit as a councillor on Coonamble Shire Council has been successful.
After the polls closed at 6pm Sunday night, staff and scrutineers at all polling places completed their initial count of ballot papers, sorting and counting according to the first preference for each candidate.
