The beauty of art and nature made the perfect backdrop for the sounds of music at the “Artsong” event held on Sunday, March 5 at Warren’s Window on the Wetlands Centre (WOW).
The WOW Centre is a community-run education, recreation and cultural centre and the gateway to the wetlands of the region, including Tiger Bay Wetlands next door and the Macquarie Marshes/ Maliyanga ngurra, 120km north of Warren. The centre also hosts the Warren and Macquarie Marshes Visitor Information Centre.
Shona Whitfield, Manager of WOW said around 40 district residents came out to support this fundraising event, with money going toward the Warren Chamber Music Festival which will take place in May…
