Local residents say their solar panels are starting to fail and the companies that installed them are leaving them out to dry.
Joe Bellgardt said he bought his solar panels from a company in North Queensland around six years ago.
He said he spent $8,000 getting them installed.
Mr Bellgardt said he had to disconnect the solar panels when he had to change the metering system from analogue to digital around one . . .
