Elephant in the Room’s Brooke Skinner has welcomed the federal governments first National Autism strategy released mid-January, although the speech pathologist says it remains to be seen how it will perform out west.
The plan sets out 22 broad commitments covering social and economic inclusion, diagnosis, services and support for the almost 300,000 autistic people in Australia.
