All three selling centres operated Tuesday and Wednesday, and the market rose steadily both days.
The national catalogue exceeded 40,000 bales — a rare occurrence this season.
Pre auction sentiment was upbeat, and the final results showed gains across most Merino and crossbred MPG’s: Merinos lifted 20 30 cents and crossbreds 10 20 cents.
