More than 500 days after a landmark gambling reform roadmap was handed to the NSW Government, communities across the state are still waiting for a formal response, as poker machine losses continue to climb and gambling harm increases.
The report, delivered to NSW Minister for Gaming and Racing David Harris, outlined 30 recommendations aimed at reducing gambling harm, including mandatory cashless gaming.
But according to welfare organisation Wesley Mission, there has been no formal response or implementation timeline.
